Wellness

Wellness is described differently by different folks.

Wellness can be having a more balanced lifestyle, engaging more in the things that bring us joy while better managing the things that cause us stress.

Wellness can be an improved understanding of our bodies, our minds, our actions and patterns of behavior, while for others it may be learning or improving ways of coping with difficult emotions.

Wellness can be overcoming and healing traumatic losses or experiences that have caused us grief, stress and/or psychological and emotional harm.

Wellness can be maintaining a sense of well-being in one's mind or body, or creating a sense of empowered over one's own life.

What does wellness mean for you?
